Dearly beloved I’m back from the Comoros islands and I want to thank you for your prayers and support. Here are some things that stood out for me during this trip:
1) Increased boldness – there’s definitely an increased boldness among the believers on M island to take a public stand for the Lord. It’s remarkable that a lot of this developed since the passing of our brothers. Praise God for this.
2) persecution continues. On the main island 3 believers were poisoned to death because of their faith. Pray for the believers.
3) Open doors to preach. I had more opportunities during this trip more than before to share the Gospel in day to day interactions – pray for the Gospel to go out to every corner of all the 4 islands and that a harvest will come in. Pray for every means we can use to bring the Gospel including medical outreaches.
4) a great need to equip the believers. God seems to be saying that the harvest that is coming will be that of the local believers multiplying themselves. So the call is to equip them as much as possible. Will you please pray for us as we seek the Lord about future investments in this area. Once again thank you for your partnership with us in the Gospel.
